The results of the Monthly Sector Report prepared every month by the Turkish Construction Materials Industrialists Association (Turkey IMSAD) for September 2023 have been announced.
According to the report, construction material industrial production increased by 29.8 percent in July 2023 compared to the same period last year. The fact that the number of working days in July was higher than the same period last year was the most important reason for the increase in production.
The report noted that the current level of construction jobs had recovered in September. The level of available jobs increased by 2.3 percentage points compared to the previous month. On the other hand, the new business orders received also fluctuated after the elections. After the summer surge, the level of new construction jobs received in September decreased by 1.6 percentage points compared to the previous month.
