Minister of Environment, Urbanism and Climate Change Murat Kurum stated that they will start from Istanbul as a pilot in order to make the inspection of buildings much more effective and said, "We are dividing the building inspection into 2 separate pools. Building inspection companies on the Anatolian and European Sides will provide services based on the centers they are located in,"he said.
Emphasizing that they divide Istanbul into 2 regions, namely the Anatolian and European sides, the Institution noted that:
"We will start in Istanbul as a pilot in order for the inspection of buildings to be carried out much more effectively. We divide the building inspection into 2 separate pools. Building inspection companies on the Anatolian and European Sides will provide services based on the centers they are located in. In other words, building inspection companies on the Anatolian Side will provide building inspection services to our citizens from the pool on the Anatolian Side, and those on the European Side will provide construction inspection services to our citizens from the pool on the European Side, using the lot system. In this way, we will be able to go to more efficient construction sites closer to their construction and provide the opportunity for them to follow the production at the construction sites. Hopefully, as of next week, we will implement our application, whose opinions we have received. We will also provide an opportunity for our building inspection employees and our citizens to do business under better conditions here. We will carry out these services together with our municipalities in an effective way at every point of Istanbul"
